After working on our first draft for our fiction books for nearly a week some of us are finished the draft and others are nearly there!
The teacher will take them home over the weekend to read and tell whether or not there are any spelling mistakes or if anything does not make sense.
We will read some of the stories out on world-book day under our reading tent which will be in the gym hall using the wall-bars for a frame.
We are really really excited.

We where talking today about different types of drugs like: cocaine, hash and tobacco.
We have been learning lots of info and found out that chocolate has caffiene in it!!!!!
if you start learning about drugs you’d get lots of info, when you start to learn about drugs at a young age you would be more likely to not take drugs when your older or at a young age.

Our school has been doing a six week thing for each class in the Open Area. Last term we did one our scottish book Kidnappit, but now we are doing on our science project forces we have six stations and six groups each group does 1 station a week.
our six stations are:
-
libray reference we need to research aboutoil, gas, coal or nuclear forces using our libray outside.
-
ICT on the computer we find out about wind, water, sun or geothermal energy.
-
this is one of our most fun stations for it has things to do with GLOW a site made for schools where you sighn up on the site you have glow groups on glow groups we click on Electricity discussion and with the othe3r people in your group you can talk on thew web.
-
Investigation into wind this is an experiment we make a wind mill and find out “is the amount of Kinetic energycreated affectedby the type of sail on a windmill?”
-
Investigation into solar pannels this is another experiment in this one you put water into different coloured containers and try to answer this Question “What colour of material should be used tomae solar pannels?”
-
6 Global Warming and group work this one has a board and pieces of card to stick onto the board working as a group you will put all of the tags onto the board in order of which is the most important to help stop global warming.
so all of our areas arehelpful in helping the planet or helping us understand it better!
